After intense deliberations during Hollywood Week, American Idol judges Randy Jackson, Keith Urban, Mariah Carey, and Nicki Minaj managed to narrow down Season 12 to the Top 40 contestants! Now, the guys and the girls are hitting up Las Vegas, where they get the chance to perform on Cirque du Soleil’s stage at The Mirage Resort and Casino!
But this year’s Vegas round has a brand new twist, as the contestants are once again split up by gender. On Wednesday, February 20, ten of the Top 20 girls faced the judges, but only five got to make it through to the next round.
