Kree Harrison is the underdog of the Top 3 on American Idol Season 12, but there is certainly no counting this girl out of the competition. The American Idol judges and Jimmy Iovine have been challenging her to recapture the passion she showed in the beginning of the season and, as of yet, she hasn’t been able to do so. If she can get her stage presence to match her astoundingly good vocals on American Idol tonight, she could easily make it to the finale.

Last week, Kree Harrison dared to take on Carrie Underwood’s “See You Again” mere weeks after the season four winner performed the song, herself, on the Idol stage. She did Carrie proud, and the judges, with the exception of Keith Urban, loved it. They praised her unparalleled vocals, but Keith has been particularly hard on Kree. Perhaps it’s because she’s the only country singer left, but he told her he couldn’t quite connect to the moment and that he kept waiting for the song to get bigger.

The American Idol judges were also critical of Kree’s choice of standard. She performed “Stormy Weather,” and Mariah Carey said she wishes she would have chosen something a bit more bluesy, like “God Bless The Child.” Nicki Minaj thought Harry Connick, Jr. may have shaken the girls up a bit while mentoring them. And Randy Jackson ended up getting in a war of words with Harry, as he told Kree she should have done the Etta James version of the song, to which Harry jokingly said, “We want you to be Kree, but choose the Etta James version."

With song choices totally out of her hands tonight, can Kree Harrison redeem herself enough to make it through to the American Idol finale for Season 12 next week? Watch her American Idol performances from the Top 3 below and tell us if she’s earned your vote!
