Jessica Sanchez isn’t the only American Idol star belting out the National Anthem!
On Wednesday, October 24, Season 11 winner Phillip Phillips put his own acoustic spin on “The Star-Spangled Banner” when he performed during Game 1 of the World Series between the Detroit Tigers and the San Francisco Giants.
P2’s fame is undoubtedly on the rise, but that didn’t stop him from shakin’ in his boots as he walked onto the field. “Gaaaaaaahhhhh leeeeeeeee that was nerve racking!!,” Phillip tweeted after finishing his performance.
