Here we go, fellow American Idol devotees. Tonight we're going down to just six remaining contestants, which means we're almost to just one hand which means we're on the brink of the Season 13 finale which means we're freaking out big time.

Last night the Top 7 tried out a new Idol theme: competitors, the concept being that the singers would pick out a song for each of their fellow performers. Sounds dicey, we know, but surprisingly, there was no real sabotage to speak of. Even better news: The performances were by and large better than last week's '80s Night and goodness did we need that!

That said, however, not everyone was stellar and we have a pretty strong hunch on who will be going home tonight. Agree with us or think we missed the mark? Tell us all about it!

Tonight we'll tune in for a the new tradition of a 30-minute results show, which, and we don't know about you, we're kind of digging. Seems less cruel to make the hopeful Idol stars sit around for 60 minutes, waiting to hear their fates.

In case you need a refresher before the next episode kicks off on Fox at 9 p.m., we've got a recap of last night's happenings. The best part? It includes video so you can practically watch (or re-watch) the episode for yourself!

What did you think of last night? Agree with our choice on who's heading home, or got your own pick? Hit the comments and be sure to check back with Wetpaint Entertainment tonight when Idol begins at 9 p.m. sharp.
