Thank goodness Fantasia Barrino's year is ending on a high note after her scandalous affair with a married man and her shocking suicide attempt. The Season 3 AI alum has been nominated for three Grammy Awards — the most nominations for an Idol contestant this year!

Fantasia's song "Bittersweet" was nominated for "Best R&B Song" and "Best R&B Vocal Performance." Her third album, Back to You, is up for "Best R&B Album." Fantasia isn't the only Idol star to be nominated for a Grammy this year. Adam Lambert was nominated for "Best Male Pop Vocal Performance" for his hit song "Whataya Want From Me." It's the Season 8 runner-up's first-ever Grammy nomination; needless to say, he's psyched.

"Woah!!! Just got the news!" he tweeted. "A Grammy nomination?!?! I'm floored and honored. There are no words."

If you guessed that Carrie Underwood would be another AI alum nominated for a Grammy this year, you are so right. The country music star — and Season 4 winner — earned a nod for "Best Female Country Vocal" performance for her song "Temporary Home."

The awards show will air February 13 on CBS. Which of these Idol stars most deserves some Grammy glory? Sound off in the comments below!
