We’re down to the best of the best on American Idol 2013, with the Season 12 Top 10 taking the stage tonight to compete for the crown.

Now that their fates are in the hands of the viewers, it’s a whole new ball game. This week’s theme was “Music of the American Idols,” and contestants had the choice of singing a song by a past American Idol winner, or a song that a previous winner performed during the competition.

With a limited songbook before them, not all of the contestants hit home runs with their choices.

The judges called out Curtis Finch Jr. and Devin Velez for being too safe with their choices, while Janelle Arthur was told the song she chose (“Gone” by Montgomery Gentry) didn’t showcase her voice in the right light.

But others, like Candice Glover and Paul Jolley, struck gold with tunes that showed off their talents beautifully. Candice got a standing ovation for her version of “I Who Have Nothing.” The only other contestant to pull off the same feat was Amber Holcomb, who sang Kelly Clarkson’s “A Moment Like This.

But which was your favorite performance of the evening? Vote in our poll below and let us know!
