We’re just one week away from the American Idol 2013 finale, and viewers have the difficult task of axing one of the talented Top 3 singers.

Tonight, Angie Miller, Candice Glover, and Kree Harrison sang for their lives in front of the American Idol judges and millions of fans. But which performance of the evening was your favorite?

In an interesting twist, the Top 3 didn’t get to choose any of their songs tonight. Instead, the decision was left in the hands of mentor Jimmy Iovine, the Idol judges, and the show’s production staff.

For Jimmy’s Iovine picks, the winner of that round seemed to be Candice, who sang U2’s “One.” The judges praised her performance, comparing her to soul diva Mary J. Blige. Angie also impressed with her version of Elton John’s “Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word.” Kree underwhelmed a bit with Pink’s “Perfect,” but the judges still said her voice had great tone.

The next round was the American Idol judges pick, and it’s to say who took this round. Each of the girls got to re-watch their hometown visits, which breathed new life into their performances. Kree’s trip back home was especially moving, as she lost both of her parents at a young age. The judges seemed most impressed with her version of Rascal Flatts’s “Here Comes Goodbye.”

The final round of songs were chosen by the American Idol production staff. Candice managed to bring the house down with her version of “Somewhere” from West Side Story. The judges gave her the only standing ovation of the night, insisting viewers would be crazy not to vote for her.
