Can you believe who got voted off American Idol tonight from the Top 6? We knew no matter what happened this evening it was going to be a shocking American Idol results show, but frankly we really did not actually expect this to happen! Beware if you haven’t seen the show yet, we have American Idol spoilers ahead!

Going into the American Idol elimination results this week, we were really not sure what was going to go down. Many fan polls and bloggers were strongly predicting this would be the week Lazaro Arbos would finally be the one who was voted off American Idol tonight after two absolutely terrible performances last night. If that happened, it was pretty obvious the American Idol judges were NOT going to use their save to keep him in the competition.

If by some insane reason the voters decided to keep Lazaro, the most likely girl on the chopping block appeared to be country singer Janelle Arthur, who just hasn’t garnered as much fan support as rival country girl Kree Harrison. If Janelle ended up in the bottom, it was questionable whether or not the 2013 American Idol judges would use their save to rescue her from elimination.

Of course, it was also possible that Amber Holcomb might end up in the bottom three again and could potentially be the one who got eliminated on American Idol tonight. In that case, we were 100% certain the judges would use their save to prevent her from going home.

Three different scenarios, all of them extremely possible. So what did happen on the American Idol elimination show tonight? Here are the results!

Top 2 Finalists: Candice Glover and Kree Harrison

Middle 2 Finalists: Angie Miller and Janelle Arthur

Bottom 2 Finalists: Lazaro Arbos and Amber Holcomb

After 34 million votes, the verdict is in and... Lazaro Arbos is in last place. The American Idol judges do not use their one and only save of the season to keep him in the competition and he is eliminated.
