Who Is Deneco Pittman (Neco Starr)? American Idol Season 11 Contestant Background Info

Deneco Pittman, who now goes by the stage name Neco Starr, first auditioned for Season 9 of American Idol in Atlanta and made it all the way to Hollywood Week. Neco, 21, is from Fairburn, Georgia. He has reportedly been singing since he was 5, and enjoys dancing, acting, and drawing. This time around, Neco auditioned in Savannah.

Neco posted this heartfelt message on his Facebook profile: "I believe in great entertainment and most importantly I believe in providing the world with inspiration through what I do... I was born to do this called music and I hope somewhere along the way you can experience a piece if my heart."

UPDATE: Neco was eliminated in American Idol Season 11: "The Final Judgment: Part 1."
