Who Is Kelly Clarkson's Fiancé, Brandon Blackstock?

As you know, American Idol’s original winner, Kelly Clarkson, has gone from Miss Independent to the future Mrs. Brandon Blackstock. But she can still be independent — she is a modern gal, after all.

Anyway, who is the man who stole our Kelly's heart, while giving her this engagement ring? Brandon is a talent manager and the son of Kelly's own manager, Narvel Blackstock, who is himself married to legendary country singer Reba McEntire. Brandon is also Blake Shelton's manager. So Kelly will become Reba’s stepdaughter-in-law, as convoluted as that sounds, and we should probably expect to see Blake and Miranda Lambert at Kelly’s wedding, in addition to the other celebs they know. (Do you think Simon Cowell will be invited?)

Kelly and Brandon have been dating since late last year. In October, Kelly told Idol host Ryan Seacrest it was basically love at first sight, at least for her:

“We met years ago when I was working with Rascal Flatts, and he used to tour manage with him. I didn’t really didn’t know he was [my manager's] son and it was kind of weird. I was like ‘dude I gotta know that guy.’ We were just in a room together, and then he came up and said he was from the same hometown as me and I was like, ‘oh we’re so getting married,’ I was so that girl. When he became single, I was on the prowl.”

And she landed the guy she wanted. Kelly always wins in the end!
