While some say American Idol has run its course, others think the change in rules and superstar judges are pumping new life into to the long running show. In the end, though, it all comes down to the contestants, and Rachel Hale seemed to have the whole package.
 
Named on the spoiler list as part of the Top 20 girls, she was an early favorite even before Season 12 started airing. The Nashville native is not only stunning but she’s got real talent in the country genre. The judges loved her solo performance during Round 4 of Hollywood Week.
 
The last time a female country singer won the show was Season 4 with Carrie Underwood. Even though it may be time for another country girl to win, sadly it will not be Rachel. She gave a good performance during the Vegas rounds, but it wasn't enough to earn her a spot in the Top 20.
