Only two contestants can move on to the American Idol Season 12 finale. With a super talented Top 3 fight to make it through to next week, who should go home on American Idol 2013?

Tonight, Angie Miller, Candice Glover, and Kree Harrison sang for their lives in front of the judges and millions of viewers. This time around, the song choices were out of their hands. Jimmy Iovine, the American Idol judges, and the show’s production staff each chose a song for the Top 3, and the results were mixed.

Jimmy’s Iovine picks made up the first round, the Candice seemed to come out on top with her performance of U2’s “One.” The judges compared her to soul diva Mary J. Blige, with Nicki Minaj saying she felt like she was at Candice’ concert. Angie’s version of Elton John’s “Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word” also impressed the judges, while Kree underwhelmed them with her take on Pink’s “Perfect.”

The next round was the American Idol judges pick, and it’s to say who took this round. Each of the girls got to re-watch their hometown visits, which breathed new life into their performances. Kree lost both of her parents at a young age, which made her hometown visit especially bittersweet. The judges seemed love her version of Rascal Flatts’s “Here Comes Goodbye” the most out of the second round.

The final batch of songs was chosen by the American Idol production staff. Candice managed to bring the house down with her version of “Somewhere” from West Side Story and got the only standing ovation of the night. Angie and Kree’s songs were also great, but they didn’t seem to hold a candle to Candice’s powerhouse performance.

At this point, we really think it’s anyone’s game. Let us know who you think is going home by voting in the poll below!
