Who will win American Idol 2013? We are only a month away from the Season 12 finale, but that question just keeps getting more difficult every week.

For weeks now, we’ve been predicting Kree Harrison would win season 12 of American Idol. It seemed the country singer could do no wrong but, alas, she was called out by Jimmy Iovine last week for performances that were becoming boring. This week, Jimmy said he longs to see the passion Kree showed when she sang “Up to the Mountain” a few weeks ago and, after watching the clip they showed on last night’s results show, we can see what he means. Between a pinched nerve and a few song choice issues, she has finally made a few missteps in the competition.

Just as Kree has taken a step back, Candice Glover has emerged as someone who refuses to falter. Week after week, she continues to astound us with flawless performances. For a while, we thought she might not have a contemporary enough sound to be a relevant artist today, but she has proved us wrong. Between her stirring rendition of “Lovesong” last week and then her reworking of Paula Abdul’s “Straight Up” on Wednesday, she’s shown us she could put out an album tomorrow that would be a huge success.

The exciting thing about this season is, because these four remaining girls are so talented, it’s really anyone’s to win. However, as of right now, we can see taking Candice as the next American Idol winner.

What do you think of our prediction? Who do you think will win American Idol 2013?
