We don’t have a crystal ball, and we don’t have Ms. Cleo on speed dial, but judging from how the season is already shaping up, we can already tell you who won American Idol Season 10.  Here’s the scoop on the American Idol Season 10 winner that we are predicting.

The winner will be hyped as one of the most talented Idols ever.
"The talent is better this season,” Randy Jackson told Rolling Stone. "I think we've put through more people in these last two cities than we've put through in the whole thing, past seasons."   Besides that, new judge Jennifer Lopez says she was determined to find music’s next big thing as the judges sat through hundreds of auditions around the country. “I want to find the next Michael Jackson,” she said. Lauren Alaina has delivered show-stopping performances from the very begining — starting with what was arguably had one of the best auditions this season (c'mon her golden pipes reduced Jennifer to tears! ).

The winner will be the youngest ever.
Now that the age requirement has been lowered to 15, there’s a fresh crop of young singers who are ready for the American Idol spotlight. “Some are [15] and blew me away,” Steven Tyler said in a Fox interview. “I could not believe what I heard.” Looks like Jordan Sparks, who won American Idol when she was only 17, might have to share the crown as youngest Idol ever. Rookie Scotty McCreery took us all by surprise with his deep baritone and country swagger. Not to mention he's a cutie patootie! Scotty is getting all the teenybopper votes this season and we think that'll be enough to get him to the winner's circle.

The winner will be edgy and current.
We’re not saying he isn’t talented, but the far-from-edgy Season 5 winner Taylor Hicks probably wouldn’t make it to the finale if he was competing this year. With Jimmy Iovine, the man who helped discover stars like Eminem, acting as the contestants’ musical mentor this season (plus hot producers like Timbaland dropping by to offer their expertise each week),  the show is clearly looking for a star who will be marketable in today’s music industry. Haley Reinhart's appeal crosses genres. She brings rock 'n' roll flair, she can go a lil' bluesy, and she can even pull off Adele's "Rolling in the Deep." Our girl is primed to take the music charts by storm.
