The American Idol Top 10 results show was certainly not a happy one. No one could have predicted the elimination of powerhouse vocalist Erika Van Pelt — not even mentor Jimmy Iovine, who said he expected her to fly to the top of the list.
Sadly, we had to say goodbye to the 26-year-old professional DJ; yet even through the tears we couldn’t take our eyes off J.Lo’s hot pink dress!
In a bubblegum-colored gown by Michael Kors, Jennifer Lopez was the star of the show. Pairing the thigh-high slit with Gucci platform heels, the judge wasn’t shy about flaunting her mile-long legs. Oversized hoops brought trademark J.Lo glam, while an Hermès studded cuff lent an unexpected dose of edge.
But Jennifer wasn’t the first to strut her stuff in the head-turning number. Back in May, model and actress Brooklyn Decker stunned in the same Michael Kors dress for the 2011 Costume Institute MET Gala.
With inconspicuous nude heels and a small gold clutch, Brooklyn’s look was all about simple sophistication, while J.Lo opted for a sultrier approach.
