Nicki Minaj's time on American Idol 2013has been tumultuous to say the least.
She's been very open about her feelings on, well, everyone.
Everything from her fellow judges to the contestants to even recently dismissed contestants has been fodder for her controversy. Because, clearly, Nicki has never had a problem with putting herself out there.
But there's one place in particular that she will not be putting herself out there.
The American Idol main stage as a performer.
"I don't know if I want to wear the performer hat on 'Idol,'" Nicki said, according to MTV. "I think kudos to Keith for doing it, but I just don't know if I want to wear that hat there."
The comments make sense because the American Idol audience may not be her core demographic, but regardless, she is determined to work with a few of the current contestants.
"Burnell has a real R&B soulful John Legend voice to me. I could completely see myself doing a song with Burnell," Nicki said. "Kree [Harrison] and Janelle, I see them doing more country, so I don't know how that would work, but to be honest, I would work with any of them."
