Nicki Minaj: Then
Born in Saint James, Trinidad and Tobago, Nicki Minaj moved to New York when she was just 5 years old. She attended the prestigious LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts, where her concentration was in drama.
Under her photo in the senior yearbook, Nicki quoted R&B star Lauryn Hill: “To survive is to stay alive in the face of opposition.”
We can’t believe we’re saying this, but Nicki looked so normal back then!
