March 24, 2011’s episode of American Idol was super intense. Ryan Seacrest got creative and scared us half a dozen times, especially when he announced that Paul McDonald and James Durbin were “not safe.” Turns out he was just releasing Hulk Hogan into the audience, so no biggie. Other notable guests were Sugarland and former American Idol contestant Jennifer Hudson. The real drama came when we discovered that Casey Abrams had received the lowest number of votes. Fortunately, the judges saved him! The poor guy nearly had a heart attack, but in the end everyone made it through the week unscathed. Hurray!
