This Curly-Haired Kid Grew Up to Become a Famous Pop Singer and Actress, But Who Is She? (PHOTOS)

The “Battlefield” singer won Season 6 of American Idol at age 17, making her the youngest winner in the competition’s history. Since then, she’s released two studio albums and made her film debut in Sparkle alongside the late Whitney Houston.

Jordin is now hard at work on her third album and will appear the indie film The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete, which also stars fellow Idol alum Jennifer Hudson. When she's not busy, Jordin can be found out and about getting cozy with boyfriend Jason Derulo.
