Who Is This American Idol Hopeful Who Lost Her House?
You hear it all the time from American Idol hopefuls: “I really needed this.” It’s one thing to want to win, but plenty of these singers are banking on the fact that the show will catapult them into stardom...or at least a decent career.
One of those people hoping for a serious life change has to be this Season 12 contestant.
Dubbed “Church Girl” in the online chat rooms, this 29-year-old mom and worship leader reportedly lost her home to foreclosure back in 2010, and her home was sold in a public auction.
On the one hand, this could be a powerful motivator. On the other hand, one can see where this might add to the already intense scrutiny these folks are under on the show.
