Which Former American Idol Contestant Is Auditioning For The Voice? (PHOTO)

You probably remember Jermaine from Season 11. The gentle giant with a deep baritone was shockingly forced to leave by the show’s producers for not disclosing a series of outstanding arrests.

Now, Jermaine is back in the news, announcing via Twitter on January 4 that he plans on returning to the spotlight by auditioning for NBC’s The Voice:

“Are you ready the #mainetrain is taking off again...My audition is next month I need all your support.”

Although he has said he wishes things went down differently between he and the Idol producers, there was apparently no love lost between the New Jersey native and his fellow contestants. He even showed up for the Philadelphia show of the Idol tour this past summer, with backstage passes courtesy of fellow Idol Joshua Ledet.
