With all this talk about Angelea’s sudden disqualification (and rumored win), we don’t want to forget about final runner-up Allison Harvard. Standing next to Lisa on the America's Next Top Model Cycle 17: All-Stars finale, Allison told Tyra how nervous she was — and after talking to her today, it turns out we didn’t know the half of it.

In an exclusive interview with Wetpaint Entertainment, Allison shares her feelings on the disqualification heard ‘round the world, what it was like to re-shoot scenes, and the exact sequence of events leading up to that final two-modelstant stand-off.

Wetpaint Entertainment: What are your thoughts on Angelea’s disqualification?

Allison Harvard: My heart went out to Angelea, I really, I love her. As much as it is a competition, it goes beyond that. It’s no way to leave a competition, so I really felt for her and was supportive in any way I could be.

Were you surprised?

Yeah it was completely random, and I can’t remember it happening like that in any other season, so it definitely caught me off guard.

What was it like to re-shoot scenes for the finale?

It was just completely unfamiliar territory. I definitely didn’t have to do that in Cycle 12, so you know, it was very random but we all made it out alive.

How nervous were you standing next to Lisa?

It was more unusual for me than it was on Cycle 12, because Cycle 12 was a complete whirlwind. This cycle felt like it went on for quite a bit longer than Cycle 12 did. Cycle 12 felt like it was over in the blink of an eye. But this season, the last like, two episodes really seemed long. On Cycle 12, we did final runway, and then it was like another couple hours, and then right into the judging room, just back to back, bam bam bam, and then I flew home within ten hours from Brazil.

This time it was like final runway, go to sleep, film something for a commercial for the opening, and then do panel. I just felt exhausted. And then to come back and to re-shoot [in LA], it was very overwhelming and I was just like, ahhh this is happening again, it’s the end.

Did Angelea win?

Umm, I just keep saying, “Over and outie!” I plead no contest, I can’t really [comment].
