ANTM Cycle 3 winner Eva Marcille returns to reality TV after a stint on The Young and the Restless. She'll host season two of Oxygen's most popular freshman series, Hair Battle Spectacular (which is saying something about Oxygen), in which 10 hairstylists compete to create the craziest, most over-the-top fantasy hairstyles.
Of course, challenges range from creating hairstyles that look like wedding cakes, to creating hairstyles with movable toys in them, to creating hairstyles involving live kittens or whatever. So, basically, it's almost as cray-cray as America's Next Top Model, and the stylists are just as wackadoo as the modeltestants.
Oxygen bills the series as "part sculpture, part pop art" but we're pretty sure it's just all parts insanity. Hopefully Eva, as the glam new hostess, will class the show up a bit. Our other suggestions for improvement include watching Tyra herself model all the over-the-top 50-pound hair creations without snapping her neck, and Andre Leon Talley acting as style mentor and just running around screaming "DREKITUDE!" in all the stylists' faces.
