Being eliminated first is never a good experience, but Jessie Rabideau seemed to take it like a champ on America's Next Top Model Cycle 19, Episode 2.

Wetpaint Entertainment spoke with Jessie in an exclusive interview, and found out how she really felt about her photo shoot performance, who she’s rooting for, and what the deal is with Victoria Henley.

Wetpaint Entertainment: What was your initial reaction to getting eliminated?
Jessie Rabideau: Of course I was disappointed, and I wasn’t really expecting to be the first one to go home. But after I saw all of my scores I knew it was probably me.

Were you surprised by some of the social media comments?
I think their main critique of [my photo] was that it was maybe boring, I think that’s what they said. Which I would agree with, it was not that interesting of a picture. I just wish I’d done more with it I guess.

What would you have done differently?
Well, apparently at the challenge, Dante didn’t like my walk or something, but I don’t know what I would have done differently because I was just being myself and I tried my hardest so whatever. And then the photo shoot, I was trying to give them a lot of different angles with my face but I guess it wasn’t working out.

Do you think the shoot, which didn’t make use of your body, was partly to blame?
Yeah, that was the challenge of it. You don’t have your whole body to work with, what Tyra [Banks] was talking about at the end, that we have all these muscles in our face, and learning how to use them, I totally get her point. I mean, obviously the blame is on me, but maybe, I think it was my first photo shoot and I really didn’t know what I was doing, and I think that maybe shows in the picture.

Was there anything they didn’t show that you wish they had?
I talked to my friends and they’re like, “They don’t show enough of you, there’s too much of that Victoria girl and I hate her!”

Did you not get along with Victoria?
She’s not really my cup of tea, she’s interesting though. It’s hard for us to relate, I guess.

Can you explain what happened after you were eliminated?
I was eliminated, and then I learned that I wasn’t really eliminated, that I still have a chance to come back, which was a great surprise, I was not expecting that. Then, basically I get to do all the photo shoots with all the other girls and based on my social media scores, I’ll have a chance to come back, if I’m higher [on the grading board] than the other eliminated girls.

Will we see you again on the show?
I’m not really on the TV show right now.

Who are you rooting for now?
I feel like it’s anybody’s game, but I really like Destiny [Strudwick], I think she’s got an edge, and Lelia [Goldkuhl]’s always been on my radar. Laura [James] takes good photos. I keep in touch with Destiny and Leila and Maria [Tucker]. Those are my friends. But all of them are really cool girls.

Did you know that your butt was such a big deal before the show?
No, no I honestly, to this day, don’t really understand it. I’ve gotten compliments on it before in the past, but not like that. You don’t take it seriously when a boy says “Oh my gosh!” but when Tyra Banks says it then you’re like, “Oh, it means something more,” I think.
