Has there ever been a cuter polka-dot-wearing cowgirl than Sophie Sumner?

This week, the British winner of America's Next Top Model Cycle 18 said howdy to the heat up at the 2012 Calgary Stampede Rodeo. During this past spring’s cycle, when the models went to Toronto, Sophie and Eboni both booked four out of eight fashion shows and they won a trip to the Canadian event.

According to the Calgary Herald, Sophie was a total fashion fish out of water. “I brought flannel shirts, thinking that would qualify,” Sophie told the newspaper, “but no one told me it was going to be so hot — and I don’t know how to dress cowgirl.”

We think her polka-dot dress is adorable, but the Calgary Herald writer said her mini-dress, leather moccasins, and bright blue nail polish made her a “sartorial disaster” by Stampede standards. Assistants reportedly went out to buy her a pair of Wranglers and a mother-of-pearl buttoned western shirt so she could better look the part.

It’s a good thing Tyra Banks and the ANTM judges weren’t there to shake their heads at Miss Sophie. (Then again, imagine what Miss J. Alexander would’ve worn...)

Catch the premiere of America's Next Top Model Cycle 19: College Edition on Friday, August 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
