Anticipation is already running full-steam for the upcoming All-Stars cycle of America’s Next Top Model, with a roster of former modeltestants that’s set to deliver major drama — and serious talent. But it’s hard not noticing that there isn't a single plus-size, or “fiercely real,” girl in the bunch. As Cycle 16 fan favorite and fiercely real beauty Kasia Pilewicz told Wetpaint exclusively, we’re not the only ones who were put off by the absence of body diversity.

“It is a little strange that there are no fiercely real girls this cycle,” Kasia tells us. “There have been so many girls on who they’ve had to pick from. But casting is more about personality than anything else.”

Recently, the Kardashian sisters were spotted taping an episode of ANTM as guest judges while promoting their new Kardashian Kollection fashion line, a seemingly curious move coming from the curvaceous Kim and Khloe given that their clothes will only be worn by modeltestants with industry-thin frames. Still, Kasia says it’s great that the Kardashians will be featured on the show.

“I think they represent different body types in a really positive way,” Kasia says. “I love their approach on that — they’re really healthy, they work out, they just accept that they’re curvy and that’s how they’re made. I think that’s why so many girls and women gravitate to them, and why they’ve become so huge, so maybe them coming on the show will be a positive thing.”

Would things have gone differently for Kasia on Cycle 16 if she’d had some fiercely real advocates on the judges’ panel? “I think the Kardashians would’ve loved me, 'cause I have a big — you know,” she laughs. “I’m curious to see what their line looks like.”

But at the end of the day, Kasia says it matters more to her that she’s acknowledged for her talent than for her plus-size identity. “People only want to position me as a ‘fiercely real model,’” she says. “Actually, I just want to be seen as a model!”
