We had a few minutes to chat with America's Next Top Model contestant Terra, who was one of the two models sent home last night in a surprise post-makeover elimination. Jay and J. took issue with both her posing and her haircut complaints. Read on to find out why she disagreed with the decision, how the show has affected her relationship with her sister Chris, and what she’s up to these days.

After your surprise elimination at the beginning of the episode, you seemed pretty upset that they cut your hair right before sending you home. Did you feel like this was a little sketchy on their part?

I just don’t think it was the right decision. They didn’t even give me a chance to do something with it. To me that’s just not right.

Were you surprised when they called your name?

A little bit...but then again, I wasn’t expecting anybody to be cut after a makeover. I feel like everybody should have a chance to do something with their makeover. I just didn’t feel like anyone should be cut.

What made you so emotional during the bullying photo shoot?

When Tyra was talking to us, it was about being empowered, and you’re preparing yourself to be empowered. When I got onset, the photographer was like, “Go back to that time when you were bullied.” So, it was going downward. And not having the help from Mr. Jay that I needed. You don’t really want to relive the moment because it was sad.

Were you and your sister Chris at all concerned that being on the show together might affect your relationship in a negative way?

No, it actually brought us together. It made us closer actually. I mean, you’re always going to have your family.

Were you impressed with the other girls on the show?

Not impressed with everybody, but once makeovers happened, people blossomed.

What was it like interacting with Tyra?

She was very energetic person. She always made us want to have energy and get excited about everything.

What’s something surprising about being on the show that viewers might not see?

You pretty much see everything from the moment we wake up until we go to sleep. The only thing I can think of is there were times not on camera when the J’s came over. There were times they’d come talk with us and have conversations with us...they’re real people.

What are you up to now?

Right now, I’m just working and trying to wait for the modeling thing to take over. I want to pursue modeling. But I do have a back-up plan. I have a degree in health, and I would be a health teacher.
