Who ever would have suspected that Janice Dickinson would be able to earn our sympathies?
The notoriously outspoken ex-Top Model judge, self-described "world's first supermodel," and lovable trainwreck made headlines recently after a Los Angeles women accused Janice of violently attacking her outside of a Sherman Oaks elementary school. The woman, Jill Gatsby, was waiting to pick her son up from school when she got into a verbal altercation with another woman — allegedly Janice — who smashed her phone into Jill's face, causing a concussion and back injury. The case was flimsy from the get-go — law enforcement officials reportedly said there was no evidence that the woman was, in fact, Janice. Janice herself said flatly, "It didn't happen. I have no involvement in it whatsoever."
But given her already wild reputation, Janice is worried about being convicted in the court of public opinion — especially since, as she tells photographers in the video below, her daughter is applying to colleges this year, and she doesn't want any additional stigma attached to the family name. Janice tells TMZ that Jill Gatsby herself may be on the receiving end of a lawsuit for defamation of character if the case persists.
Janice does appear remarkably clear-headed and rational, so we're betting that she's in the right here — but still, it sounds like things are about to get ugly, so we'll be steering clear. Something tell us that we do not want to make Janice Dickinson mad!
