Kelly Cutrone is returning to America’s Next Top Model for Cycle 19, where she’ll remain the harsh Simon Cowell of the judges’ panel.

“People don’t like it when I’m nice,” Kelly told Page Six on Wednesday. “You can check the dial of the focus testing. If I’m too nice, people don’t like it.”

Have you ever been in a TV show focus group? If they asked us, we’d say we have no problem with Kelly being nice on ANTM. It was downright refreshing when Kelly got over whatever grudge she had against Cycle 18’s Annaliese Dayes and started showing her as much love as Laura LaFrate and Sophie Sumner.

Tyra Banks recently called Kelly “absolutely fantastic,” adding, “She’s almost the star of that judging row.” Tyra has dubbed her new judges’ panel the “Fierce Friday Foursome.” It includes Kelly, herself, Rob “Maybe I’m Her Boyfriend, Maybe I’m Just Hot” Evans and the viewers, who were supposed to vote for modeltestants online as a new part of the ANTM process. We’ll see how that plays out when the college cycle premieres on Friday, August 24.

Catch the premiere of America's Next Top Model Cycle 19: College Edition on Friday, August 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
