It's no secret that legendary supermodel and America's Next Top Model host Tyra Banks has been taking classes at Harvard Business School, but who knew the media mogul was actually on track to graduate?
Since enrolling in Harvard Business School's prestigious Owner/President Management Program, Ty-Ty has been a model pupil — and she sat down with the school's associate dean to talk about her journey as a businesswoman. As for her motivations for joining the program in the first place, Tyra explained, "There's a difference between a career and a business... I'm not looking to build my company based on fans." She said that Harvard has helped her see that her goals in business were "too audacious" and she made decisions with her gut; now, she says, she's trying to see that success is "not about being the biggest, but being the best."
Tyra also acknowledged that her tough and powerful Top Model persona is just that — she called it "a character," and said that she would love to have Top Model Tyra in the boardroom. Seriously, though, who wouldn't?
