For those of you tuning in to the new America's Next Top Model Cycle 19: College Edition tomorrow night (August 24) just to see gorgeous male model/new judge Rob Evans (who is actually quite opinionated!), Tyra Banks has some news for you. He’s deep, you guys!

Wetpaint Entertainment spoke to Tyra at the ANTM Cycle 19 premiere party on August 22 at the Tribeca Grand in New York City, and she shared about Rob’s “vulnerable” side, how one modelstant made him choke up, and a few other spoilers about the upcoming season.

Wetpaint Entertainment: What does new judge Rob Evans bring to the show?

Tyra Banks: First of all, Rob is our very first young working model on the panel. I was towards the end of my modeling career when I started the show. He’s our very first male model, and he’s so fine and sexy so it’s kind of distracting, but what he brings is, and you’ll see this this cycle, Rob is very vulnerable, and he talks about his vulnerabilities.

We have some girls who were homeless, dumpster diving to eat. I had one girl actually, [you could hear her] tummy growling in the judging room when she first [came in], because all her money goes to tuition. So she was dumpster diving to eat, and Rob got kind of choked up, and shares his story that he had something similar, [where he] didn’t know where his next meal was coming from, sleeping on couches, sleeping outside. So you’ll see he’s not just this beautiful specimen, but there’s a story and vulnerability behind it. I really appreciated him [opening up], because I didn’t even know that.

Catch the premiere of America's Next Top Model Cycle 19: College Edition on Friday, August 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
