Now that we’ve met the modelstants who will appear on America’s Next Top Model Cycle 18, it’s time to meet the members of the revamped judges’ panel.

As we reported last year, Andre Leon Talley is out (maybe because queen bee Tyra Banks fired him, maybe not), and reality show veteran Kelly Cutrone is in. What does this mean for how the British and American modelstants will be judged?

Anyone who watched Kelly’s Bravo show Kell on Earth or, for that matter, her appearance as Whitney Port’s boss on The City, knows that she is one tough cookie. Kelly has spent most of her life working in the fashion industry, and the majority of that time being the boss. She is never shy, especially when it comes to telling young and inexperienced newbies what they’re doing wrong.

Nigel will always be the same passive, “don’t look at me” judge, Jay Manuel will always be supportive (while reserving his catty comments for the confessionals), and Miss Jay will always make Taylor Swift eyes before giving silent, though fierce, attitude.

So how will the honest and devil-may-care Kelly fit in? Frankly, the only judge who might not mix well with Kelly is Tyra herself. These are two brassy bitches. Kelly comes from the fashion world of runways, haute couture, models who are mute blank slates, and stick-thin stars. Tyra is all about becoming a brand, being likable, looking like a real woman, and, for whatever reason, walking on stilts.

Will they agree to disagree, or simply disagree? We’ll find out soon!
