Ron Burgundy is back and on the prowl — and even suggesting lewd acts to Katy Perry.
Will Ferrell's scotch-loving, jazz-flute-playing, milk-chugging, Baxter-canoodling character — from 2003's Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy and December's sequel, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues — was in fine form at the 2013 MTV Europe Music Awards in Amsterdam on November 10 as he presented the Best Video category with the Prism singer.
As you can see in the clip below, before Ron and Katy announce the contenders, they swap compliments at the bar — Ron admiring Katy's "haute couture jumper thing" and Katy calling him "dapper."
"Flattery will get you everywhere, Ms. Perry," the San Diego legend purrs. "If I were but ten years younger…"
Katy plays dumb and calls out the inveterate newscaster, making him tell her explicitly what he would do. And he does just that whispering something into her ear so explicit, it makes her gasp and call him disgusting.
"C'mon, K.P.! We're in Amsterdam. It's the capital of Scandinavia, for Christ's sakes," Ron (incorrectly) asserts. "Live a little!"
Wow — such chemistry! Forget John Meyer. And forget Veronica Corningstone. We think that Katy and Ron are the "one true pairing."
