Andi Dorfman Chooses Winner With Her Head or Heart? Chris Harrison Says…
Andi Dorfman’s no-nonsense approach to love onJuan Pablo Galavis’s season of The Bachelor impressed viewers who’ve grown used to contestants getting swept up in the ooey gooeyness of the show’s romance. Now that the assistant district attorney is judge and jury, can we expect the same analytical take on finding a mate? Or will this season’s Bachelorette revel in the romance of being wooed, now that she’s no longer competing for affection? Chris Harrison has something to say about it.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, our favorite guidance counselor revealed that Andi tackled the season “like she would a serious court case. She really does her background checks, she does her homework, her investigations, and she does her follow-ups when she doesn’t feel right about something. It was really interesting to watch her go through this meticulous process.” We don’t know about you, but we’re imaging a group lie detector test with Andi banging a gavel as the guys’ blood pressure rises.
Chris goes on to say that, though Andi’s mind is analytical, the season isn’t one big trial by fire for the 25 contestants hoping to win the 27-year-old’s love. “When you see that there is this vulnerable, sweet woman who also is sincerely looking for love, it’s a great combination...you really have to let yourself go and give yourself up to the process, and she was somehow able to do both.”
Everyone approaches finding a mate differently — some peeps marry for love, others for fame or money, and still others because no one else can stand them — and we have to say we’re looking forward to seeing how the southerner will use her courtroom manner to reach a verdict for love.
What do you think — will being a lawyer help Andi make a wise decision about love?
