Get set, ladies. The Bachelorette 2014 Season 10 Premiere is just weeks away and you’re gonna want to watch because Andi Dorfman has a ton of hot, hot, hotties to choose from. For real, you’re gonna want to tune in cuz there will be some bona fide eye candy to enjoy. And, like every premiere show, the competition on night one is gonna be fierce. With 25 guys and only one First Impression Rose, we’re hoping the contestants get desperate and start ripping their shirts off to show the goods. So, who gets the coveted I-couldn’t-take-my-eyes-off-you rose when the show premieres on May 19?

The man of the hour (and hunk among hunks) who catches Andi’s eye on night 1 is Nick Viall. Ladies, take note. We don’t know what it was that made Andi stop everything to pass off her flower, but the 33-year-old cutie from Milwaukee must have done something to stand out among such an attractive crowd. Perhaps it was Nick’s background in sales (he’s an account exec in his non-show hours) that helped him sell himself to the beautiful Andi, or maybe they just have heaps of chemistry?

But it seems to us that the First Impression Rose isn't always a good indicator of how far someone would get on the show. Take Desiree's first night flower-snatcher, Ben Scott. The single dad received the rose when he sent his darling four-year-old son Brody out of the car to hand Des a rose. We totally get where the Season 9 Bachelorette was coming from, as that was one of the cutest limo exits of all time. Unfortunately, things didn't work out, and he got the axe in Germany after a truly awkward 2-on-1 date.

But if Nick is anything like Sharleen Joynt, who got the First Impression Rose on Juan Pablo's Season 18, he may be a major player this season. Sharleen, one of the most elegant contestants in Bachelor history, was hesitant about receiving the rose because she didn’t feel a “connection” with JPG. The opera singer stuck it out hoping to see sparks, but excused herself from the show just before Hometown Dates. Oh well, hopefully for Andi, Nick will see the connection from Day 1, too.

The only time we can remember a First Impression Rose working out for the recipient was Roberto Martinez (who wouldn’t have given it to him?) on Ali Fedotowsky’s Season 6, but even that victory didn’t last, as the two broke up not long after the show. In fact, it may feel like a big win to get the first flower, but we’re beginning to wonder if the thing might be cursed. Maybe Nick should give it back so he can stick around and let us enjoy looking at him longer.

What do you think about Nick nabbing the coveted first rose? We applaud Andi for the handsome, er, wise choice. Want to know more about him or how far he makes it? We've got you covered.
