The Associated Press reports that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are married, citing a spokesperson for the Hollywood power couple.
People has a few more details, reporting that the nuptials were held on August 23 at Château Miraval, their estate in the village of Correns, France.
The two movie stars first started dating around 2005, having fallen in love while co-starring in Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Seven years later, they got engaged. The couple has three adopted children — 13-year-old Maddox, 10-year-old Pax, and 9-year-old Zahara — and three biological children — 8-year-old Shiloh and 6-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
The honorary child in the family is Château Miraval, a 35-bedroom estate on 1,200 acres that Brand and Angelina purchased in 2012 for $60 million, having vacationed there for years with their children.
"We became impassioned with this place which could produce its own wine, its own food, and become a place where artists could congregate and share ideas," Brad explains to Wine Spectator (via Us Weekly). "It's very peaceful and the antithesis of the drive, the want, the need to get ahead indicative of life in Hollywood. I'm instantly reminded what quiet sounds like."
