Phaedra Parks Announces First Book Singing Since Apollo Nida’s Sentencing

Once her husband Apollo Nida was sentenced to eight years in prison for bank fraud and identity theft, Phaedra Parks made the decision to lay low for several weeks. Only now has she begun to re-emerge and live her life.

On July 23, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star marked her return to social media by Instagramming a photo with Married to Medicine’s Quad and Gregory Lunceford. Now, just two days later, Phaedra announced a public appearance, her first since Apollo was sentenced ealier this month. So what’s Mrs. Parks up to as her hubby prepares to go to prison? Read on to find out!

Before Apollo was ordered to the clink, Phaedra was busy traveling the country for book signings for Secrets of the Southern Belle; now that the mom of two has had some time to process recent events, she’s back at it again. Her latest Instagram post from today reads, “Tomorrow at 2pm I'll be signing books at Atlanta Marriott Marquis. Hope to see you there!! #SouthernBelleSecrets.”

We know that people aren’t always very kind — Wendy Williams even shared her theory about how Phaedra knew about Apollo’s illegal activity all along — so we give the RHoA star major props for getting back out there and providing for her boys. Hey, with Apollo behind bars somebody’s gotta do it!

Do you think it’s a good idea for Phaedra to get back out there and hold book signings? Sound off below!
