Things are looking up for Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kandi Burruss. While she may have lost the lawsuit over the profits for “Tardy To the Party” to Kim Zolciak, the gorgeous artist took to Instagram yesterday to announce her play has found a home in Atlanta.
Kandi’s not resting on her laurels and good fortune, however. Instead, she’s been enlisting the help of friends and working diligently on her philanthropy, Kandi Cares. She posted a photo with the following caption to Instagram:
“by @chanitafoster "Me and @donjuannc in planning mode today for @kandiburruss Non For Profit @KandiCares! Great Things to come! #ScorpiosRule#Working #Philanthropy #GivingBack" via@InstaReposts.”
Kandi might be in the business of adult toys but, when it comes to children, her heart is certainly in the right place. According to the website, “Kandi Cares is dedicated to providing Education, Empowerment & Enrichment to the lives of single parents, and children who are the product of single parent homes.”
Back in August, Kandi hosted an event for the nonprofit, which donates school supplies, backpacks, notebooks, and other school-related items to children in Atlanta school districts.
What a philanthropist! Many children likely take these items for granted, but in single-parent homes, it can be hard to get the money together for even the most basic supplies.
