Another Death in the Glee Family: Cast and Crew React on Twitter
It’s still only been two months since Cory Monteith’s (Finn) sudden passing on July 13, so it seems fair to say that Glee’s cast and crew has already had to deal with enough sadness. Now, the show is grieving again — as crew member Jim Fuller has just passed away.
Jim had worked as an assistant director on Glee since the series began, and he had also worked on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and American Horror Story. His cause of death has not yet been made public.
Members of the Glee team have taken to Twitter to express their grief, including Glee cinematographer Joaquin Sedillo and FOX behind the scenes content creator Kalen G:
@JOAQUINSEDILLO This is such sad news. Jim was such a great guy and was so good to me always. Sending all my love to those who knew him.
Eagle-eyed Glee fans may have noticed that, when Emma and Schue are creating their wedding seating chart in Season 4, Episode 14: “I Do,” the name “Jim Fuller” is written in one of the seats as a subtle shout-out to the longtime crew member.
It doesn’t seem fair for one show to have two significant losses in such a short timespan, and it sounds like Jim was beloved by everyone who knew him. We wish the best to Jim’s family, loved ones, and anyone who was impacted by his death.
