Poor Apollo Nida just doesn’t seem to know when enough is enough. Not only has he turned himself over to the feds for allegedly committing bank fraud and identity theft, but he’s still talking about those infamous texts he exchanged with Kenya Moore, who is pretty much his wife Phaedra Parks’ enemy.
To be fair, talk show host Bethenny Frankel asked Phaedra’s man about the texts when he was on her show yesterday, January 30, but what he had to say still troubled us. “I dug my way out of it...I’ve apologized to Phaedra numerous times,” he began, innocently enough.
“Things got blown out of proportion,” he continued. “It was business for me and then things just started snowballing from there, it just got bigger and bigger and bigger.”
But when Bethenny straight up asked Apollo if he thought Kenya was into him, his response was surprising. “Definitely,” he answered without hesitation.
Dude, you just got through saying that you apologized to Phae-Phae and are finally out of the doghouse. Why would you then go and say that another woman — whom your wife happens to despise — is most certainly into you? In our opinion, Apollo should have avoided that question completely, or at least found a better way to respond.
And when Bethenny brought up the oddness of texting a woman that you know is into you, Apollo replied, “My text messages were not sexual, not sensual. It wasn’t anything like that.”
Honestly, we still think there’s something fishy going on here, but it doesn’t seem like we’ll ever really get to the bottom of it.
