Apollo Nida Offends Gay Community — What Did He Say?

Things have gone from bad to worse for Phaedra Parks's hubby, Apollo Nida. Just a few days after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit mail, wire, and bank fraud, the Real Housewives of Atlanta husband has pissed off an Atlanta rapper and an entire community. Latin Post shared the details.

The trouble began when Apollo started talking about his plea deal, which requires him to work with the government, which has had a lot of people calling him a “snitch.” When Apollo opened up about the plea deal, he casually mentioned that Atlanta rapper, T.I., as well as athlete Michael Vick, took similar deals in the past — making it seem that they were informants. Needless to say, T.I. wasn't too pleased with this.

After the rapper confronted Apollo, caught on tape by TMZ, Apollo ended up apologizing. He also took to Twitter to publicly clear up any misunderstanding.

"For the record I never said TI nor Mick Vick cooperated for the FED's in there plea agreement. This was all taken out of context," he wrote.

Unfortunately, he didn't stop there.

He then added, "I respect both Them guys and looked up to them every since they started her career no Homo."

It didn't take long for the LGBT community to get on Apollo's case for using the offensive expression at the end of his Tweet.

Yikes, maybe Apollo should take a break from speaking for a while?
