Apollo Nida Posts First Tweet Since Receiving Eight-Year Prison Sentence — What’d He Say?
Phaedra Parks may be keeping her lips firmly sealed since her husband, Apollo Nida, was sentenced to eight years in prison for bank fraud and identity theft, but one guy who couldn’t resist vaguely referencing this whole debacle is Apollo himself!
On July 9, the soon-to-be prisoner sent out his first tweet since he was sentenced to some serious time behind bars earlier this week. “I got a question ??? Who will ride with me?? Thanks,” he wrote. Since he was appealing to his Twitter followers, it’s not surprising Apollo’s request was met with a great deal of support online.
“Praying praying praying for you friend!!!!! Keep your head up no matter what!,” one fan wrote.
Like this fan, we took Apollo’s tweet as some sort of way to gauge his own support, but other followers were a bit more perplexed. “Sir U mean drop U off at Jail?,” one such person wondered.
We have a feeling Apollo is still working on his prison day drop-off plan — he has four to six weeks to turn himself in — but hopefully it doesn’t involve heading to the clink with a fan for company. Phae-Phae may have missed her hubby’s sentencing, but we’re holding out hope that she won’t be a repeat no-show when Apollo reports to prison in a few weeks. He may be a criminal, but he deserves a good send-off!
