Apollo Nida Asks Twitter Followers For Positive Thoughts Before Heading to Prison

If you ask us, there are probably better ways for Apollo Nida to be spending his time in the weeks leading up to his eight-year prison sentence than going on Twitter, but it looks like the Real Housewives of Atlanta star just couldn’t stay off the social media site.

Earlier this week, Phaedra Parks’ husband was sentenced to eight years behind bars and an additional five years on parole for bank fraud and identity theft. Apollo actually sent out his first post-sentencing tweet on July 9, but that tweet — in which he asked his followers “I got a question ??? Who will ride with me??” — has since been deleted.

In its place is another plea from Apollo sent out July 10. This time, he angrily asks for some happy thoughts, writing, “Question?? DOES ANY-1 HAVE ANYTHING POSITIVE TO SAY WTF!!!!” We should point out that Apollo’s Twitter account isn’t verified, but as far as we know @apollonida03 is him, and Phaedra has included that handle in tweets in the past.

Honestly, we’re not really sure what Apollo was looking for here. He broke the law multiple times, reached a pretty generous plea deal with prosecutors, and now he has to serve time for what he did. We give him props for fessing up to his crimes and taking some responsibility, but how positive does he expect people to be?!

Regardless, Apollo better get all the tweeting out of his system now because we’re pretty sure they don’t have Twitter in the clink!

Will you be honoring Apollo’s request and sending some positive thoughts over social media? Tell us your plans below!
