Apollo Nida Worried About How His Criminal Charges Will Affect Phaedra Parks

After a few months of back and forth trials, Phaedra Parks's husband, Apollo Nida plead guilty to conspiracy to commit mail, wire, and bank fraud. Now he could be going to jail for as long as 30 years, leaving behind his wife and two young sons. Naturally, he's concerned about how all of this will affect his Real Housewives of Atlanta star wife.

In a recent interview with Sister 2 Sister, Apollo opens up about his situation and reveals his worries about Phaedra.

"But yeah, Phaedra — I’m sure she’s nervous because at the end of the day, ‘I’m putting my career in jeopardy, putting my connections, everything on the line dealing with you.' It’s bad for Bravo. It’s bad for me," he explained.

Apollo got busted for running an elaborate fraud operation where he was stealing people's identities to cash stolen checks and pension funds, at the end of the day laundering $2.3 million through the fake bank accounts. Apollo has already served jail time for racketeering about 10 years ago, so we're guessing it doesn't look very good for the ex-con. He's due to hear his sentencing on July 8, 2014.

He recently attributed his crimes to the pressures of reality TV living, saying he was only trying to keep up with a certain lifestyle. "It was a dumb situation I put myself in,” he said, adding, “I got sucked in and engulfed and lost sight of things.”

Our thoughts go out to Phaedra and her baby boys during this difficult time.
