Vicki Gunvalson Apologizes For Offending People From Oklahoma

During this week's Real Housewives of Orange County Season 9 premiere, Vicki Gunvalson had some harsh words about the state of Oklahoma, where her daughter, Briana, has moved. However, Vicki now regrets what she said.

Briana and husband Ryan have moved with their son Troy to Oklahoma, where Ryan is stationed as a Marine. Vicki is clearly bothered that they will be so far away, and so she quipped to the camera that Oklahoma is an "invisible" state and that no one knows anything about it.

On April 14, Vicki took to Twitter to make amends. "For anyone that lives in OK, my sincere apologies for offending anyone," she writes. "Since I have taped the show, I have been there a lot."

"What I said about OK was only a direct response to a question that was asked if we had ever been there. #loveoklahoma, #missbri," she adds.

When one Twitter follower claims that Vicki is just backpedaling, Vicki insists this isn't the case. "It's not backpedaling.. It's called clarifying!!!" she replies.

We appreciate that Vicki has apologized, and we understand that she just wants Briana to be closer to her.

Do you think Vicki crossed a line by dissing Oklahoma?
