Darren Criss to Appear on Hollywood Game Night!

Darren CrissGlee alter-ego, Blaine, just relocated to New York City from Lima, Ohio, and now the 27-year-old actor is doing some hopping around of his own. But don’t worry gleeks, because Darren is definitely not leaving the musical dramedy behind.

Instead, the former warbler will be pulling double duty of sorts, appearing on the Fox staple and an upcoming episode of Hollywood Game Night. We don’t know exactly when Darren’s episode of HGN will air, but seeing as how it was just filmed earlier this month, we’re guessing it’ll be several weeks before we see Darren and a slew of other celebs in action.

Darren’s HGN stint was first reported by a producer who Instagrammed a photo of himself with the show’s band and wrote, “We are with the band. #hollywoodgamenight taping. It's Darren Criss and the Orange is the New Black crew tonight.” Hold up, Darren and the Orange Is the New Black cast?! This is one hour of television we’ll be sure not to miss.

As HGN fans know, the NBC game show is hosted by Darren’s Glee co-star Jane Lynch (Sue Sylvester) he clearly has a solid connection to the new hit. Jane even confirmed Darren’s upcoming appearance during a conversation with a fan on Twitter.

Darren is actually the third Glee star to stop by Jane’s new show. Both Chris Colfer (Kurt) and Matthew Morrison (Will Schuester) made guest appearances a few months ago, though none of the Glee gals have filmed an episode yet. You know what would make us really giddy? If Jane hosted a Glee-themed episode of Hollywood Game Night! We’d just love to see that cast compete against each other for charity, wouldn’t you?

Are you psyched about Darren’s upcoming turn on Hollywood Game Night? Tell us your thoughts below and vote on which Glee cast member you’d like to see on there next!
