Ariana Grande’s Ex Jai Brooks: Nathan Sykes Stole My Girl
Love triangle alert! While Ariana Grande recently denied that she’s dating The Wanted’s Nathan Sykes (a rumor that surfaced suspiciously close to the announcement of her split from singer Jai Brooks), her ex seems to have a different impression. In fact, according to a recent Twitter rant, not only does Jai believe Ariana is with Nathan — he’s accusing the rumored couple of being cheater-cheater-pumpkin-eaters!
In an extended tweet, Jai confesses “Yes I was cheated on. Yes it does suck. Yes I was left for another man.” While initially we’d say that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s talking about Ariana, he does go on to address Nathan Sykes specifically. “Nathan may be a top bloke or a sweet person, but what he did was just completely wrong. He interfered with my life and did not respect my relationship, his actions caused me to not be able to sleep at night and not see the world as a beautiful place.”
Wow, way harsh, Jai. The jilted ex says he wishes Ariana and Nathan “happiness and a good life,” but it doesn’t sound like he’s over the breakup quite yet. “Nathan if you read this, when you hold her hand you better hold it tight because you are holding my world.”
In what seems to be a response to her ex publicly calling her out, Ariana tweeted, “You said to me if I didn't come back to you, you'd make me look bad to the entire world... I'm no longer afraid of you or your lies anymore.” Determined to have the last word, Jai posted a screengrab of what appears to be a very heartfelt text message that doesn’t seem to indicate any vindictive feelings... not that it proves anything one way or the other.
We’ll keep watching this little game of he-said-she-said as it develops. Maybe Nathan will chime in soon?
