We’ve been spoiled recently with a seemingly endless string of Ariana Grande live performances — the VMAs, Thanksgiving Day Parade, Rockefeller tree lighting. But we could be at risk of all of that stopping now that the chart-topper just tweeted that she’s been under the weather.

“Not feeling so great... can't stop coughing... going to bundle up and drink tea all night. hope everyone's having a good day. sending u love,” the 20-year-old posted, sending the Twitterverse into a frenzy.

But the show must go on, as the star-on-the-rise is scheduled to perform at the KIIS FM Jingle Ball in L.A. tonight. And it seems that this consummate professional will be toughing it out, according to her most recent tweet: “Still sick but gonna sing my hardest for @1027KIISFM's #KIISJingleBall tonight. Gonna be so much fun. :) See u there.”

Protect that precious instrument, Ariana. The fate of the R&B-pop diva revival rests on your tiny shoulders! Since the songstress’ tour has her booked for performances every few days for the rest of the month, we just hope she doesn’t push herself over the edge.

And in the mean time, we’ll just be rewatching that VMA performance of “Tattooed Heart” for the umpteenth time. Please don’t judge us.
