Ariana Grande’s star is certainly on the rise but the pop star has hit a bit of a “Problem”: Her Nickelodeon show got canceled after just one season!
Nick had an upsetting update for the Sam & Cat fans out there this weekend with the news that the series had gotten the boot. “Nickelodeon will not be producing more episodes of Sam & Cat,” a Nick spokesperson said. “We are very proud of the show and its very talented cast, and we wish them all the best.”
Thankfully, the well-wishes seem to be mutual. Soon after Nick broke the news, Ariana took to her very popular Twitter account to share her feels and she seems 100 percent OK with the show getting cut.
“So the news is out about Sam & Cat,” she begins the very long open letter. “I felt it wasn’t my place to make any sort of announcement so I kept quiet until now. I want to thank Nickelodeon for making a childhood dream of mine come true, for being a family to me, for being so accommodating and supportive of my multitasking with my music career, and for of course introducing me to many of my fans however many years ago.”
Now there’s the spirit! Don’t let those nasty rumors you’re feuding with co-star Jennette McCurdy get you down, Ari!
