Ariana Zolciak Stranded at Friend’s House Due to Atlanta Storm — Is She OK?
Over the past few days the Southern city of Atlanta got a few inches of snow, and while Kim Zolciak’s young boys were fond of the powder, the unexpected snow wreaked havoc on the busy metropolis and dangerous ice shut down nearly all of the city’s major roadways.
Many schools in the Atlanta area closed early on January 28 so students could get home safely before the worst of the storm hit, but everyone pretty much had the same idea so the treacherous roads were loaded with cars — Sweetie Hughes even stayed the night so she didn’t have to drive home in the bad weather.
But one little lady who couldn’t quite make it home to Casa Zolciak-Biermann was 12-year-old Ariana. Kim posted a photo of her middle daughter skyping with baby Kaia on January 29 and explained the situation. “We are missing our @arianabiermann thank goodness for Madeline’s mom she picked up Ariana from school yesterday and tried to get to our house for hrs until it was just too unsafe she spent the night with her BFF we are very thankful!”
Aww, look at how psyched Kaia is to be chatting with her big sis!
We know Kim must have been really worried about Ariana, and understandably so, but at least the tween was safe at a friend’s house. We’re sure Ariana would have loved to have been at home with her big family, but a sleepover at your bestie’s and no school is a pretty winning combination!
